The City of Saskatoon has confirmed the declaration of a COVID-19 outbreak by the Saskatchewan Health Authority in a City workgroup located at City Yards. That’s at 26th Street and Ontario Avenue. The facility is only accessible to employees.
An outbreak is declared when two or more people test positive for COVID-19 and are all linked to a specific non-household setting or event within a specified time period.
The declaration remains in effect until twenty-eight days without a new positive COVID case in the workplace.
The outbreak is within City of Saskatoon Roadways – Nightshift. At this time, the City does not expect that there will be an impact to operations.
The city says that enhanced cleaning and disinfecting has taken place.
