This is the third and final year of SaskPower’s Power Generation Partner Program. In that time, 12 projects have been approved totaling 12.5 megawatts of renewable and carbon-neutral power to be sold to the company. 10 Megawatts is from solar power; the remaining 2.5 is flare-gas power. This is all part of SaskPower’s plan to reduce emissions by 40 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030.
