Responding to an alarm in Watson, Saskatchewan, turned into the dismantling of a marijuana grow operation last month.
On January 18, Humboldt R-C-M-P responded to an alarm at a non-residential building on Railway Avenue in Watson…only to discover the marijuana grow op. On January 30, Humboldt and Lanigan R-C-M-P executed a search warrant for the property, resulting in 424 plants at various levels of maturity being seized…along with hydroponic equipment. The plants were seized as the marijuana was grown without a Health Canada medical license and in contravention of the Cannabis Act. The investigation continues.
