Mr. Sauder, born on February 2nd, 1921, has been residing in Carrot River and is a Second World War veteran who served from 1942 to 1945, in the 413 Squadron or the ‘Tusker’ squadron with a Squadron badge that features an elephant head over a maple leaf. It was a flying boat squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War
