A 28 year old man is facing charges after a report of a disturbance that resulted in Police deploying a Conducted Energy Weapon. Around 4:30 Wednesday morning, police were told of a disturbance in the 500 block of Cope Way. Officers arrived to find significant damage to a suite. Police allege that the man became aggressive while holding shards of glass in his hands. The officer deployed the taser and the man was taken into custody.
He is facing charges of mischief under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance. He will be in court this afternoon.
Police say that the incident will be reviewed in accordance with policy.
