Saskatoon Police say members of the serious assault unit are investigating an aggravated assault from Tuesday night. Officers responded to a report of an injured person in the 500 bock of Avenue H South around 10 last night.
The person calling said a woman had come to a home in the area asking for help. A 23 year old woman who reported being assaulted, in a back alley near Avenue H South and 18th Street West by two males with machetes, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Around 11 p.m. Tuesday officers went to a home a couple blocks from where the woman was found and three male suspects were arrested. A machete was also seized. Three males, aged 15, 16, 18, are charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
