Saskatoon Police do not believe the victim in a machete attack knew her assailants. And a 15 year old has been charged with attempted murder in the case.
A 23 year old woman made it to a home in the 500 bock of Avenue H South for help around 10 o’clock on Tuesday night after she was attacked. The attack, apparently random, occurred in a back alley near Avenue H and 18th Street by two males with machetes. She suffered serious but non life threatening injuries.
About an hour after the attack, officers arrested three males, aged 15, 16 and 18 at a house a couple blocks away and seized a machete. The 16 and 18 year old were also charged – with possession of a dangerous weapon.
