The Government of Saskatchewan held the February Crown petroleum and natural gas public offering on Tuesday, which generated nearly $252,000 in revenue for the province. This was the last of six oil and gas public offerings for the 2020-21 fiscal year and brings cumulative earnings to about $6.5 million.
A year ago, the final sale rang in at $1.9 million bringing the total for the fiscal year to $17 million. The year before that, the February sale raised $10.2-million and the total for the year was $57.5-million.
The scheduled date for the next public offering is April 6.
