Two separate emergencies resulted in two different kinds of public service vehicles being involved in a collision over the noon hour Friday in Saskatoon’s downtown.
Just after 12 p.m., a westbound Saskatoon Police Service vehicle on 25th Street collided with a southbound Medavie Health Services ambulance on 2nd Avenue. Both had their flashing lights and sirens activated. There were no injuries. The police vehicle was responding to a weapons-related call while the ambulance wasn’t carrying a passenger.
