The COVID-19 outbreak at the Inpatient Unit of Rosthern Hospital has been declared over by the Saskatchewan Health Authority, as of Monday. It was declared on January 22nd after positive cases were confirmed.

That means the hospital can now begin accepting new admissions with level 2 family presence visitor restrictions in place. Each patient or resident can designate one essential family or support person can visit., but they will have to undergo a health screening prior to entering. That includes a temperature check and questionnaire.

The SHA says the decision to restrict family presence is not taken lightly.
