Tens of thousands of Pfizer Vaccines will be headed to Canada next week. The Prime Minister made the announcement, saying there are also other vaccine candidates in the approval process.
The Prime Minister says his government is tightening restrictions at border crossings. As of February 15th, people returning to Canada through a land border, will need to show a 72 hour PCR test just like for air travel.
The PM also raise the matter of taxes. He says the government is providing one year without interest on certain 2020 tax debt, to give people more flexibility. Trudeau says if you received federal emergency benefits, and you made up to $75 thousand in taxable income, you will not have to pay interest on 2020 tax debt until April of next year.
Trudeau also says people who accessed CERB payments based on their gross income, instead of their net income and meet other eligibility requirements, won’t have to return them.
