A huge haul for Steinbach, Manitoba RCMP and the Manitoba East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team. They executed simultaneous warrants at a residence and a vehicle on Dawson Road near Richer, Manitoba and in the City of Winnipeg.

Officers allegedly seized over 729 thousand cigarettes, 15 grams of psilocybin, 74 grams of cocaine, 300 Percocet tablets, 220 hydromorphine tablets, as well as two firearms and items police say are indicative of drug trafficking.

A 39 year old man from Steinbach and a 62 year old woman from the RM of Ste. Anne were arrested and face drug, cigarette smuggling, and firearm charges. Both remain in custody while the investigation continues.
