An 18-year-old man has been charged with robbery and breach of probation following a noon hour robbery Thursday at a Saskatoon convenience store.
The suspect entered the store in the 2300 block of 33rd Street West at about 12:10 p.m….produced a knife and demanded money from an employee. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash but, with the help of witnesses, Saskatoon Police were able to locate the suspect and nearby and arrest him. The Canine Unit found a knife and cash, believed to have been abandoned by the suspect. No one was injured and the suspect was also found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.
