Metis Nation-Saskatchewan set an election date during its Legislative Assembly held this past weekend. The Assembly was held by video conference. The MNLA set the date of the next election for May 29, 2021 for Metis citizens to go to the polls to select executive and regional leadership. A person who wishes to register to vote in the Metis Nation – Saskatchewan election will have to provide documentation showing proof of citizenship in the Metis Nation – Saskatchewan or proof their application was submitted before March 30th of this year.
