A new TV docu-series traces Saskatchewan meals from farm to plate.
“Flat Out Food” is based on a book written by Saskatoon journalist and author Jenn Sharp.
The six part series visits a variety of farms and restaurants across the province. Each program concludes with a stunning meal . . . cooked by a chef . . . using Saskatchewan grown ingredients like chanterelle mushrooms, bison, honey and fiddleheads.
Flat Out Food debuts Wednesday night at 10pm on CityTV Saskatchewan. It will continue every Wednesday until the end of March.
