Federal officials say more COVID vaccines continue arriving and are being distributed in Canada.

Procurement minister Anita Anand pointed out 643,000 doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines had already been received, and had been delivered.

Canada is still on track to received 6 million doses of Pfizer and Moderna COID-19 vaccines by the end of March. Anand says a total of 29 million cumulative doses will be delivered by the end of June and 84 million prior to the end of September.

Meantime, nearly 850 cases of variants of the virus have been identified in Canada. (CJGX)
