Official Opposition Finance Critic Trent Wotherspoon is calling on the province to release the third quarter financial report for the 2020-21 fiscal year.
Wotherspoon says, “The Sask. Party’s decision to delay the budget and hide their plans from Saskatchewan people is bad enough, but there’s absolutely no reason why they should be hiding last year’s finances two months after the end of the third quarter.”
He says, “This province is at a critical point in our economic history,” and, “The people of Saskatchewan deserve to have all the information available.”
The NDP says the provincial government’s third quarter report contains important information about the province’s revenues, expenditures, debt, and economic performance.
