The Saskatoon Police Service’s Serious Assault Unit is looking for a female suspect as part of their investigation into a Monday afternoon stabbing on Millar Avenue.
At about 1:30 p.m. on March 1, police were called to a business in the 2200 block of Millar Avenue with a report of a woman entering the establishment, engaging in a verbal altercation with a male staff member, then assaulting him with a knife. The female suspect fled the scene while the male staff member was transported to hospital with a serious, but not life-threatening injury. The female suspect is described as five feet tall with dark hair and was wearing a pink hoodie, black leggings, tan U-G-G type boots and a grey toque. Anyone with information is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
