A 42 year old woman and 34 year old man were taken to hospital after being attacked in a College Park neighbourhood home. Around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday police were called to a house in the 100 block of Carleton Drive responded to a report of two people who had knife wounds and had suffered serious but non life threatening injuries. The victims and the suspect are known to each other and based on information provided by the victims, a suspect was arrested a short distance from the home. A 21 year old man has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
A few hours earlier, a 35 year old woman was taken to the hospital after being stabbed at a home in the 200 block of Avenue S North. Around 5:45 p.m. Saturday police were called to a report that a woman had attacked another woman with a knife. The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injury and was taken to hospital. Police still don’t have a reliable description of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
