A provincial Court Directive was issued February 4th, concerning court proceedings given health and safety protocols due to COVID-19. It said the Court would not conduct in-person hearings if it decided there is a significant risk to public safety in proceeding. That Directive is due to expire Friday March 26th. Chief Judge Shannon Metivier says, as of March 29, the Court will continue to hold in-person hearings at permanent court locations where they can proceed in compliance with Public Health Guidelines.
