Jaxon MacDonald has been found deceased. Searchers had been looking for the 15 year old from Regina at Duck Mountain Provincial Park in eastern Saskatchewan.

He was last seen at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning leaving a cottage in the Jubilee Subdivision of  the park.  His destination was another cottage not far away.

Shortly before noon Tuesday Jaxon was found on an island on Madge Lake which is located within the provincial park.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and no other details will be released at this time but that their thoughts are with Jaxon MacDonald’s family.
