The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has declared an outbreak at Willowgrove School.
The SHA notified the school division about the outbreak declaration Saturday. Communication about the outbreak declaration has been shared with students, staff, and the school community. The classes impacted from the two most recent cases must complete isolation orders. Otherwise in-person classes continue as scheduled on Monday.
To date, the school division has been notified of eight positive cases of COVID-19 at Willowgrove School. The two most recent cases were confirmed on March 12 and were later identified as possible COVID-19 variants of concern.
Since the start of the school year, Saskatoon Public Schools has had 265 positive cases at 54 locations in the division. 53 schools and the board office.
