Manitoba RCMP are just announcing now that on March 10th, Major Crime Services investigators went to Little Grand Rapids and arrested 21 year old Alayna Flett, and 24 year old Houston Bushie on charges of Fail to Provide Necessaries of Life in the death of a three-year-old boy.

Flett and Bushie were the child’s temporary guardians at the time of his death.

On August 23, 2018, RCMP received a report of an unresponsive child who had been brought in from his residence to the community nursing station.

The boy was later pronounced deceased.

Both of the accused have been released for a court date of April 21st, in Little Grand Rapids.
