Regina’s drive-thru testing site will see expanded hours as of Thursday.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority says in order to serve increasing demand for testing, the site will now be open from 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.  The SHA states this will meet demands as variants of concern have become more prevalent in the city.  The SHA also says in the coming days, as staffing permits, the site will move to 12 hours of operation and then eventually 16 hours. Currently the drive-thru testing site at Evraz Place is experiencing longer than expected wait times and can vary anywhere from no wait to longer than 3 hours.

The Saskatoon drive-thru testing site remains open at 3630 Thatcher Avenue on Weekdays from Noon until 7 p.m. and weekends from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Prince Albert’s drive-thru testing site is at 890 6th Avenue East and is open every day from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
