Vaccine booking eligibility will remain at 62 years and up in Saskatchewan for Friday. Others who can book their COVID-19 vaccine appointment include individuals 50 years of age and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, all remaining phase one health care workers.
As well, while a letter of eligibility is required, those with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable can book their appointments but there are some provisions about whether by phone or online. If you are clinically extremely vulnerable booking online is not available unless you are 62 years of age and older and haven’t booking an appointment yet. Otherwise you book by calling.
The SHA is also in the process of connecting with group homes for persons with intellectual disabilities, shelters, and other congregate living facilities to discuss options for immunization.
You can book by phone by calling 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. or you can book online.
