Corman Park Police say they pulled over a car for what appeared to be a vehicle violation on Friday night and ended up laying charges and seizing a large amount of cash.
Around 10:30 p.m. officers say they spotted a car with inadequate suspension on Highway 11 near Osler. The driver allegedly lied about his identity and after further investigation, the real identity of the driver revealed multiple warrants and a suspended license. A search of the vehicle turned up the cash and bear spray.
The driver has been charged with proceeds of crime, obstruction, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, inadequate suspension and drive while suspended.
