Parkland Ambulance Paramedics report responding to 175 incidents during the long weekend. One of the incidents that occurred on Saturday saw paramedics respond to an ATV accident. Paramedics report a 15 year-old girl was the passenger of an ATV when she fell off of it about 40 kilometers west of Prince Albert. Paramedics treated the teenager for injuries and she was transported to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. Parkland Ambulance reminds people that ATV’s can be dangerous when used at excessive speeds, by an inexperienced driver or with a passenger when the vehicle is only built for one or not built for two.
