Around 9 o’clock this morning (Tues), a Battlefords RCMP officer on patrol came across a vehicle suspected to be stolen, so an attempt was made to pull the vehicle over.
Police allege that insteady the vehicle turned down a dead end gravel road, picked up speed and came back towards the police vehicle.
The officer pulled to the side, but the police vehicle was still hit and then the SUV took off.
There was significant damage to the vehicle but the officer wasn’t injured.
The suspect vehicle is a grey 2013 BMW X3, Saskatchewan Licence Plate 058-MBM
Anyone who sees it is asked to call the Battlefords RCMP.
