Wholesale merchants’ sales in Saskatchewan rose four per cent in February. That was at a time when Canada saw a decline of 0.7 per cent. Nova Scotia was the only province to outperform us, and that was marginal at best, with sales up 4.6 per cent. Compared to a year ago, February sales here were up 25.3 per cent. No province could touch that. Nationally, sales were up 6.5 per cent. The total value of wholesale merchants’ sales in Saskatchewan in February rang in at $2.55 billion.
