As National Telecommunicators Week draws to a close, the Saskatoon Police Service is bringing attention to Special Constable Kathy Richards, who is this year’s Sask911 Telecommunicator of the Year.

She was nominated for her role in a critical incident when she was able to calm down a stabbing victim.
C Platoon Communications was awarded the Excellence in Teamwork Award for a critical call which involved multitasking, perseverance, coordination, and acute attention.
