The demand for COVID-19 vaccine appointments currently outweighs the supply.
That from the Saskatchewan Health Authority which explains in a news release that when age eligibility opens to a young group, appointments fill up fast, particularly in larger centres.
The SHA suggests if you want to look at other options, clinics in rural and northern communities may have more appointment availabilities.
Right now, there are only two drive-through clinics and they are both scheduled for Friday.
One is in North Battleford at Yellowhead Alley from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and the other is in Warman on Centennial Boulevard from 7:30 am to 11 pm.
The SHA expects more drive-through and walk-in clinics will open in the coming days and more appointments will be added to the booking system by Wednesday.
