On Friday, Maidstone RCMP responded to the scene of an collision between a truck and a school bus.

Officers say at around 8 a.m. that morning an eastbound bus on Highway #3 west of Paradise Hill was making a left hand turn when a truck collided with it. The truck rolled in to the north ditch, while the school bus received minor damage and was still drive-able.

RCMP say there were ten students on the bus and are not aware of any injuries among them. A man who was driving the truck was check by EMS and released at the scene with no injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
