The provincial government is extending the Saskatchewan Small Business Emergency Payment program by a month.

Trade and Export Development Minister Jeremy Harrison says it’s available to businesses that were ordered to temporarily close or substantially curtail their operations because of public health orders.
To date, this program has provided more than $66-million in support to more than 6,400 small businesses.

The eligibility period is April 1st to 30th and the program will accept applications until the end of May.
If a business received payments through the December to March offering, they won’t need to reapply.
