A large police presence was seen on Avenue H South Monday, after police responded to a report of man who was armed.

Saskatoon Police officers along with members of the Tactical Support Unit responded at approximately 11:40 a.m.  The caller had told Police that a man was seen at a home armed with a large knife and a sawed-off firearm.   Due to the possibility that a firearm may be involved, traffic was restricted by police to the area and members of TSU attended.  Police report officers were successful in clearing several people from the house and garage, but say the suspect was not located.

Police report no one was injured during the incident.
