Saskatoon Police are at a vehicle/pedestrian accident where one woman was sent to hospital with what are believed to be serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Around nine o’clock Tuesday morning, police were notified of the accident at Acadia Drive and 8th Street East. Members of the Collision Analyst Unit are investigating.

Significant traffic restrictions are in place and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area. The north and southbound lanes on Acadia Drive are fully closed. The westbound lanes of 8th Street East are fully closed, and eastbound traffic on 8th Street East is heavily restricted.
