Long time hand-at-the-helm for SaskTel Centre, Will Lofdahl, has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer. Paul Jaspar, Chair of the Board, thanked Lofdahl for his years of service, “And his commitment to making this place an entertainment venue of choice for even promoters across North America.”

The Board of Directors of SaskTel Centre announced Tuesday that John Howden has been appointed interim Chief Executive Officer. Howden is the former Director of Business Development who closely managed the luxury suites, sponsors, food and beverage, parking and event day logistics team.

Board Chair Paul Jaspar also expressed confidence as they look to the future and a new facility, “SaskTel Centre is positioned to grow into what’s needed to become the key component of the Downtown Entertainment District.”

The search for a permanent CEO is getting underway immediately.
