Two men are facing a number of charges in connection with the use of counterfeit currency in Regina.

On May 10th, Regina Police were told by staff at a business on the 8500 block of Dewdney Avenue of two incidents where someone used, or attempted to use, counterfeit $100 bills to pay for purchases. Investigation, including security video, led to the identification of two suspects and a suspect vehicle. Officers found the vehicle May 11th, parked at a residence on Alexandra Street. Warrants were obtained for the residence and the truck. The two suspects were arrested and evidence seized.

Thirty-seven year-old Pierre Randolph Laferte, of Regina, and 32 year-old Tyson S. Knutson, of Grenfell, are facing multiple charges including Using a Forged Document, Possession of Stolen Mail, and Possession of Stolen Property.
Both have already made their first court appearances.
