While a school immunization program will be introduced next month, the Saskatchewan Health Authority is letting residents know that only the Pfizer vaccine has been approved for students aged 16 and 17.
Eligible residents of this age can be immunized now at any of the clinics currently offering the Pfizer vaccine. Otherwise, eligibility criteria for first doses remains unchanged at 16-and-older in the province while eligibility criteria for second doses remains unchanged for anyone aged 85 and older or who received their first shot before February 15.
