A 39-year-old Regina man was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.

William Pengelly faces charges of possession of child pornography and make available child pornography. On March 9, ICE Unit members conducted a search warrant on Pengelly’s Regina residence and found he was accessing online child pornography through a popular online social media application. Electronic items were seized with child porography located on the devices. Pengelly will be released from custody by a Justice of the Peace on numerous conditions and will next be appearing in Regina Provincial Court on September 7.
