The provincial government announced on Thursday that the Re-Opening Road Map will allow for children to attend overnight summer camps when Step Two comes into effect on June 20th.

Saskatchewan has 527 active cases of COVID-19 amongst children and youths aged 19-and-under, according to the weekly report for the time period May 17-23. There were 34 new cases of the novel coronavirus from 5,104 processed tests, a positive rate of 6.7 per cent.

The active case count for children and youth in the province was down from the previous week’s report of 601 and the positive rate was down as well from 7.1 per cent the previous week. The Saskatoon zone has 145 active cases of COVID-19 amongst children and youth.
