The Principal of Bethlehem High School has sent an e-mail to parents, outlining plans for the next school year, beginning in the fall. It revolves around a quarter system with a three-period day. There will be three classes each quarter, with two in the morning and one in the afternoon, involving 320 minutes of class time.
The letter says, “Next year we will be reintroducing a form of 360 once we have permission to expand cohorts.” It also says, “We are hoping for a return to daily classes without being in a blended format but realize that restrictions and circumstances are quite fluid right now. We will continue to work closely with health authorities. We are hopeful that we can resume more of the typical school activities such as extra-curricular clubs and athletics. Of course, it is dependent on the rate of vaccination for students and the recommendations of the health authorities.”
