Officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority have informed the greater Saskatoon Catholic division of a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at St. Volodymyr School. GSCS says it is working with Public Health to notify parents and caregiver.
SHA is recommending that all close contacts get tested, but say risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low. The affected class will switch to online learning.
