Meadow Lake RCMP say they responded to a call on Friday at 6:25 p.m. about a woman reportedly in distress, and heard screaming, from the backseat of a vehicle, in the Petro Canada gas station on the Flying Dust First Nation.  A man and woman were seen in the front seat of the vehicle and at one point the woman appeared to get into the back seat to subdue the woman in distress.

The vehicle, a 2000 to 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, either brown or tan, was seen heading east on the service road towards Highway 55 in the direction of Green Lake.

The suspects are described as a white man and woman and the man had dyed blue hair while the woman had dyed red hair.  The man was wearing a black jacket with a large white “YZ” symbol on the back and symbols running down the sleeves.  The woman was wearing a black and white shirt with grey pants.  There is no description for the woman in the back seat.

RCMP say it is not known at this time if a criminal act has taken place but they do want to confirm the safety of the woman reportedly in distress in the backseat of the car. Anyone with information is asked to contact Meadow Lake RCMP at 306-236-2570 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
