Meadow Lake RCMP say an investigation into a woman who may have been held against her will determined she is safe.

Sunday, RCMP issued a news release describing a woman possibly in distress in the back seat of a vehicle and they wanted to confirm her well-being.

Police say no abduction or injury occurred.
