The State of Emergency for the Cloverdale Fire is now over.

A news release from the City of Prince Albert says as of today (Thursday) the Cloverdale fire is contained with several hot spots that are being identified and extinguished.

Investigators from the Ministry of Environment, Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency and City of Prince Albert says the fire which began on May 17th was caused by a lightning strike.

At least 75 households were evacuated. No homes or major structures were lost.
