Environment Canada is continuing its heat warning, and it includes most of Saskatchewan, basically all but the northern third of the province. The national weather forecaster says the heat will moderate a bit on Friday and then near normal temperatures for the weekend.
Environment Canada says extreme heat affects everyone, so watch for the effects of heat illness which include swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions. Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place if you can, and never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
