Regina Police are advising the public about a food delivery scam that has surfaced in recent days.
Police say pizzas were delivered to customers and when paid for by debit or credit, difficulties occurred with the card and machine but the delivery person confirmed the transaction was successful. Later, when multiple victims checked their bank accounts significant funds had been taken.
Police believe the individuals posing as delivery people are not associated with either the restaurants or a legitimate delivery service.
The advice from Regina Police is to ensure the delivery person at your door provides identification from the business you have ordered from.
