A 27 year-old man wanted in relation to nearly a dozen charges was arrested on Thursday.

Utin Whitefish, was located and arrested without incident by Big River RCMP.  He will appear in court on Friday and faces ten charges including Assault, Theft Under $5,000, Possession of an Unauthorized Firearm, Uttering Threats and Assault with Weapon.

On Tuesday Big RCMP requested the help of the public in tracking down Whitefish in connection to several incidents which reportedly have taken place in the Big River area since July 2020.  Multiple arrest warrants had been issued by Police who had been unable to locate him until Thursday.
