The City says it has made progress on the emergency repair to the primary water main affecting traffic at the southbound Circle Drive off-ramp from Taylor Street.

Crews will begin the process of flushing the system to obtain water samples today [wed]. Water quality testing will also begin and will continue through the week with results expected on Saturday. Upon receiving the desired test results, crews will begin the process of restoring full water pressure to affected areas over an 8-hour period. Residents and businesses can expect to resume normal water usage on Sunday, however, an update will be provided once this is confirmed.

Until then, residents and businesses south of College Drive and east of the South Saskatchewan River area are asked to continue avoiding unnecessary water use, such as watering lawns and washing vehicles until further notice.

Daily activities, such as hand washing, bathing and appliances are allowed.

The following spray pads will remain closed until water pressure is restored:
