8th Street westbound lanes will be closed between Circle Drive and Arlington Avenue starting at 7:00 a.m. Thursday for watermain repair work. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the eastbound lanes. Left turns will not be permitted at Arlington Avenue during this project. Delays are expected. Detours will be in place. This project is expected to take four days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Additional closures to be in place during this project:

Circle Drive southbound ramp onto 8th Street;
Circle Drive northbound curb lane approaching 8th Street;
8th Street westbound centre lane approaching Circle Drive; and
8th Street eastbound median lane approaching Arlington Avenue.

Spadina Crescent will be closed between 20th and 21st streets at 9:00 a.m. for roadway patching work. Detours will be in place. The project is expected to take two hours to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

The Ministry of Highways will be conducting geotechnical inspections on Highways 11 and 12 at 9:00 a.m.. Access to and from 71st Street will be maintained at all times. Highway 11 and Highway 12 northbound and southbound curb and median lanes will have moving closures north of 71st Street. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zones. This project is expected to take six hours to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
